Lateral Attorney Recruiting Specialist
LOCATION: New York, NY (Downtown Manhattan)

SUMMARY: The Lateral Attorney Recruiting Specialist provides support to the firm’s partner and counsel recruiting processes globally. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess excellent proofing and communication skills, and a very strong attention to detail.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work closely with the Lateral Attorney Recruiting team, hiring partners and Recruiting Committee to develop, implement and manage recruiting strategies and programs
- Develop and maintain relationships with trusted recruiters and search firms
- Review, circulate and follow up on solicited and unsolicited recruiter inbounds
- Check firm inbox for submissions
- Conduct initial review of candidate lists
- Attend recruiter meetings alongside manager, when necessary
- Follow up with recruiters for candidate availability, feedback, preparation and submission of candidates
- Develop and maintain a sense of marketplace intelligence (hiring trends, etc)
- Draft weekly and biweekly updates
- Assist with scheduling candidates, managing travel, tracking and following up for feedback, greeting candidates and reserving conference rooms for meetings
- Schedule non-candidate meetings, when necessary
- Maintain accurate data tracking across various firm softwares
- Process placement invoices
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5+years of related work experience in a law firm or professional services environment
- MUST have a strong administrative background
- Solid knowledge of office software, including Microsoft Office
- Prior experience working with ViRecruit and Leopard Solutions is a plus
- Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, efficient at multitasking and able to handle time-sensitive projects
- Possess excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills
- Must be flexible in working overtime to meet operating needs particularly during the summer and fall
- Strong presentation skills combined with confidence and poise
