POSITION: Knowledge Management Specialist
ORGANIZATION: International Law Firm
LOCATION: New York, NY
HOURS: Monday – Friday, 9:00AM – 6:00PM

SUMMARY: The KM Specialist provides ongoing support to Knowledge Management Attorneys with firm platforms and products, including SharePoint and iManage, to facilitate document and work-product availability on-site and remotely.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work with attorneys and staff at all levels, including senior leadership, partners, associates, and practice groups to coordinate and improve work-product

Provide feedback on software to address ongoing issues related to access, knowledge, and research

Use iManage to integrate large systems of data

Upload attorney research and work product into databases, such as SharePoint, iManage

Use AI tools to perform due diligence, assist in other legal
-
Use Contract Express to create document questionnaires

Create collections of documents and information specific to the various practice groups

Test and pilot new software products

Conduct data entry for a number of firm databases with particular attention to detail

Prepare and distribute daily alerts to attorneys and clients

Perform other duties as assigned, including special projects
QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree required

Specialized knowledge of SharePoint, iManage, enterprise search, and basic office software

2+ years of experience managing data; law firm experience preferred

Experience using automated tools such as Contract Express, Neota Logic, and due diligence tools such as Kira, eBrevia, etc.

Excellent communication skills in a fast-paced environment

Project management experience, with ability to manage multiple competing priorities at once

Familiarity with attorney work product
