Knowledge Management Paralegal
ORGANIZATION: International Law Firm

SUMMARY: The KM Paralegal provides ongoing support to the Knowledge Management group, including KM Attorneys with firm platforms and products, to facilitate document and work-product availability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with attorneys and staff at all levels, including senior leadership, partners, associates, and practice groups to coordinate and improve work-product
- Provide feedback on software to address ongoing issues related to access, knowledge, and research
- Upload attorney research and work product into databases
- Use AI tools to perform due diligence, assist in other legal matters
- Use Contract Express to create document questionnaires
- Create collections of documents and information specific to the various practice groups
- Test and pilot new software products
- Conduct data entry for a number of firm databases with particular attention to detail
- Prepare and distribute daily alerts to attorneys and clients
- Liaise with users to gather feedback on KM resources
- Collaborate with KM team members to facilitate internal knowledge sharing of best practices
- Provide support to KM counsel and lawyers on new KM initiatives
- Perform other duties as assigned, including special projects
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 2+ years of experience in transactional practice at large law firm preferred
- Experience using automated tools such as Contract Express, Neota Logic, and due diligence tools such as Kira, eBrevia, etc.
- Experience with coding in python and other language preferred
- Ability to learn new software, applications and technologies as relevant to KM
- Excellent communication skills in a fast-paced environment
- Project management experience, with ability to manage multiple competing priorities at once
- Familiarity with attorney work product
- Flexibility to adjust hours and work overtime as necessary
