SUMMARY: Seeking Knowledge & Innovation Attorneys to provide support to corporate or IP practices. Having practiced law, the ideal candidates will lead the capture, organization, and sharing of knowledge throughout the practice and identify and implement solutions to enhance the delivery of legal services. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assess current and future needs and priorities that align with practice and firm goals
  • Collaborate with vendors and in-house technology experts to implement legal technology solutions for increased accessibility and efficiency
  • Collaborate with firm stakeholders to identify, retrieve and effectively store key research and reference materials from multiple sources and database
  • Establish and maintain rapport with practice group leaders, associates and partners
  • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders including partners, practice group leaders, attorney development personnel and marketing team
  • Serves as a subject matter expert to connect people with the relevant information, resources, work product and/or colleagues in response to requests for information
  • Maintain platforms to support practice-specific content collections
  • Lead capture and validation of matter metadata and experience information

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) required
  • 5+ years of transactional, corporate or IP practice experience
  • Advanced knowledge of contract analysis, document and workflow automation, transaction management and deal rooms
  • Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Office, Teams, document management, experience management, intranets and extranets
  • Ability to communicate technical and legal information effectively to various practice groups, internal stakeholders and vendors
  • Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships and aptitude for building consensus and facilitating change
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team in a high-pressure environment
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, organizational and project management skills
