THE ORGANIZATION:

Elite International Law Firm

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide paralegal support to attorneys handling private investment fund formation, investment management, and related transactional matters.
  • Assist with all phases of transactions, including document preparation, closing coordination, post-closing deliverables, and maintenance of transaction records.
  • Prepare, organize, review, and maintain investor onboarding documentation, subscription materials, closing binders, and related records.
  • Coordinate regulatory filings and assist with the preparation and submission of federal and state compliance documents required for investment vehicles.
  • Prepare organizational, tax, securities, and governance documentation for newly formed investment entities.
  • Track transaction timelines, deliverables, investor information, and key milestones using spreadsheets and reporting tools.
  • Maintain calendars for transaction deadlines, filing requirements, and client deliverables across multiple active matters.
  • Draft, proofread, format, and organize legal documents, correspondence, exhibits, and supporting materials.
  • Coordinate execution of signature packages and manage electronic and physical transaction files throughout the life cycle of each matter.
  • Maintain document management systems and ensure accurate filing and organization of confidential legal records.
  • Assist attorneys with administrative and project management responsibilities necessary to support active client engagements.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and business professionals to facilitate efficient workflow and timely completion of client matters.
  • Support process improvement initiatives designed to enhance operational efficiency and document management practices.
  • Manage multiple assignments simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Minimum of three years of paralegal experience supporting complex corporate or transactional legal matters within a law firm or professional services environment.
  • Experience supporting private investment funds, asset management, corporate transactions, or other sophisticated financial transactions preferred.
  • Working knowledge of regulatory filing processes and corporate formation documentation is highly desirable.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience utilizing document management systems and electronic filing platforms.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and strict deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with attorneys, clients, and business professionals.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, sound judgment, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and support high-volume transactional practices.
  • Willingness to work additional hours when business needs require.
