Identity Systems Engineer (Global Firm)

ORGANIZATION: International Firm

LOCATION: Bay Area, CA | Seattle, WA | Washington, DC | New York, NY

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Administrate Azure/On-Prem Active Directory, Teams, Exchange Online and Office 365
  • Collaborate with the Security Team to ensure client needs and system requirements are met
  • Develop and document the identity related systems and services
  • Maintain and update systems
  • Monitor communication systems and applications
  • Design, develop and deliver training for support and Service Desk staff
  • Provide guidance for security best practices
  • Solve escalated problems from the Service Desk or other staff members
  • Serve as a point of contact with vendors
  • Review vendor products and services
  • Maintain a broad knowledge of current and emerging technologies
  • Participate in large projects of moderate complexity involving the orchestration of tasks and or technology deployments
  • Resolve complex technical issues and conduct advanced research.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, attorneys and staff
  • Recommend alternatives to development and design to improve quality of products and/or procedures

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

  • 5+ years of experience in design, installation and maintenance of server, network, communications / messaging, telecommunications and storage systems within law firm or professional services environment
  • Working knowledge of server based operating systems and communications protocols
  • Knowledge of administrative best practices and methodologies
  • Active Directory and scripting
  • Microsoft Windows Active Directory design, implementation and support
  • Experience with Citrix Terminal server is a plus
  • Experience with multi-platform computing preferred, e.g. Unix, Linux
  • Networking protocols and concepts including routing, TCP/IP and FTP
  • Knowledge of Cisco routers, UNIX, Network Management and diagnostic tools are helpful.
  • Experience in a multi time zone datacenter environment is preferred
