Position Overview
A professional services firm is seeking a skilled Human Resources Generalist to support a
broad range of HR functions. This role is responsible for day-to-day HR operations, including
payroll and benefits administration, recruiting, compliance, employee relations, training
coordination, and wellness initiatives. The HR Generalist will work closely with firm leadership to
ensure a positive and compliant workplace environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer HR operations including payroll, benefits, and leave management.
  • Support employee relations efforts and serve as a resource for HR policies and
    procedures.
  • Coordinate non-attorney recruiting, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with federal and state employment
    laws.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR initiatives such as training, safety,
    and wellness programs.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to HR projects and
    initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.
  • 3–5 years of progressive HR experience in a professional services or corporate
    environment.
  • Working knowledge of multi-state HR compliance and employment law.
  • Proficiency in HRIS platforms (UKG preferred), payroll systems, and Microsoft Office
    Suite.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills with a high level of attention to
    detail.
