HR Technology Analyst 

Location: New York, NY – Midtown Manhattan

Summary: Top-ranked multinational law firm is seeking an HR Technology Analyst to provide support to the Director of the HR Technology & Analytics team. HR Technology Analyst will design, develop and modify the Firm’s HRIS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the HRIS system including design, layout, visual presentation and user experience
  • Provide global human capital data analytics support to the HRIS system
  • Plan, design and deliver analytical projects that answer key HR-related questions
  • Perform data extraction, report generation and data visualization in dashboards
  • Generate and analyze data and metrics across the Firm to support data-driven decisions
  • Develop comprehensive reports and communicate data findings and action items, both verbally and in writing accurately and concisely
  • Assist with technology and database projects and assignments
  • Act as subject matter expert for reporting, training, and troubleshooting
  • Support the firm's performance evaluation and recruiting process
  • Maintain documentation of the firm's human capital systems procedures
  • Analyze existing data management processes and propose improvements as needed
  • Provide technical solutions to regulatory and business requirements, includes testing and liaising with internal and external support for all HR platforms
  • Administer the distribution of the Wage Theft Prevention Act forms to active employees in the assigned offices
  • Oversee implementation of Firm’s Affirmative Action Plan
  • Run and analyze reports used to file the Firm’s EEO-1 Federal and California filings

Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience in HRIS systems
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, formulas)
  • Experience with Data Analytics
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, take initiative and be flexible
  • Ability to appropriately handle highly confidential information
  • Ability to interface, develop and maintain professional relationships with all levels of management
  • Ability to positively tackle problems, provide solutions and engage with others to ensure proactive steps are taken
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines under time constraints
  • Possess strategic, critical thinking, collaboration, and strong analytical skills
