HR Analytics – Reporting and Configurations Analyst (Benefits)

LOCATION: New York, NY (Hybrid-remote)

OVERVIEW: Seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Reporting and Configurations Analyst looking to develop a long-term career within the Benefits Department of a well-established law firm. This role will directly support the HRIS Manager with the technical functionality of the Benefits’ Department applications and configurations, with major emphasis on the Workday application including report writing, quantitative analysis and data quality assurance. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for preparing and maintaining monthly reporting tasks; provide proposals for process changes and oversees their implementation
  • Provide technical support to the Workday Benefits function
  • Provide technical support on Business Processes with Benefits impact, upgrade testing and method development
  • Investigate and assist department heads and budgeters across the Firm with discrepancies
  • Develop a thorough grasp of the data presented, including where the data originates and whether the information is accurate
  • Partner with Benefits Department to design reports and dashboards
  • Plan, design and execute routine and ad-hoc reporting, auditing and special projects
  • Plan, design and deliver ad-hoc analyses and analytical projects as related to benefits
  • Perform mass data uploads using Workday EIBs’s
  • Serve as dedicated support for Workday implementation
  • Create, calculate, process and reconcile insurance premium and headcount reports
  • Interact with outside vendors 
  • Audit and maintain current and historical data
  • Work closely with IT department resources in coordinating and testing enhancements to Workday
  • Identify Benefits process needs
  • Collaborate and assist with HRIS projects
  • Troubleshoot Workday issues

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5+ years of benefits HRIS experience
  • 2+ years of Workday experience with 1+ years of Workday integrations experience
  • Strong financial acumen and understanding of budgeting, accounting and systems
  • Familiarity with the following systems: HRIS applications, Human Resources and Benefits software and MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
  • Strong skills in data mining, manipulation and analysis
  • Strong experience with Workday CCBs as well as custom integrations
  • Experience with Workday Dashboards
  • Strong analytical & communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to prioritize competing demands under tight deadlines
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
