FINANCE MANAGER
ORGANIZATION: Elite International Law Firm
LOCATION: New York, NY (hybrid)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Report to the Global Controller

Lead and manage a team of 3-4 accounting managers and 5-8 staff accountants

Develop and maintain relationships with the Firm’s leadership

Provide mentorship to the accounting team

Review department staff; recommend improvements depending on performance

Oversee and manage the annual audit of the firm financial statements and employee benefit plans

Develop and maintain a library of documents

Develop and oversee global best practices for the Firm

Prepare and review balance sheet account analyses and bank reconciliations

Review monthly reconciliations
REQUIREMENTS:
-
Bachelor’s Degree and CPA required
-
6+ years of related accounting or financial analysis experience in a professional services environment; law firm finance experience preferred

Managerial experience required

Excellent financial acumen and ability to communicate complicated topics effectively to senior management

Perform all job duties with a commitment to providing superior service to clients and attorneys while producing a high quality work product
