Role Overview:
Attorneys at the Firm handle a wide range of employment-related matters on behalf of individuals and groups, including class and collective actions. Their work may involve issues such as wage disputes, workplace discrimination and harassment, retaliation claims, whistleblower protections, leave-related matters, and reductions in force. Responsibilities include managing cases across various forums—such as federal and state courts, arbitration proceedings, mediations, and administrative agencies (including the EEOC)—as well as advising clients and negotiating resolutions.

Candidate Profile:
Ideal candidates bring a mix of professional experience, academic background, and personal perspective that reflects the following capabilities:

  • Professional Experience: At least eight years of legal practice, including a minimum of four years focused on employment law. Strong skills in legal analysis, writing, research, negotiation, and advocacy are essential. Admission to the California Bar is required.
  • Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive information responsibly and comply with all internal policies related to confidentiality and data protection.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Demonstrated experience overseeing cases, mentoring junior team members, and managing workflows. Candidates should be proactive, adaptable, and effective in team settings, with a track record of building strong professional relationships and advancing organizational goals.
  • Commitment to Mission: A genuine interest in advancing employee rights and a desire to engage in work that has meaningful impact.

Compensation and Benefits:
The Firm offers a competitive compensation structure based on experience, with a base salary generally ranging up to $220,000 annually. An additional competitive discretionary bonus may be awarded. Employees also receive a comprehensive and competitive benefits package.
