THE ORGANIZATION: An International Law Firm with over 300 Attorneys
SUMMARY: One of the top law firms in the world is looking for a Digital Marketing Manager with the confidence, thought leadership, digital marketing and promotional skill set to advance the Firm’s presence and visibility on a global, practice area, and individual attorney scale. This position reports to the Senior Director of Marketing and Business Development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop, review and edit original digital media content including infographics, surveys, eBooks, podcasts, videos, and more
- improve visibility and mindshare for the firm and its practice areas, industries, legal themes, issues and solutions through innovative digital marketing
- Manage research and data to support with content creation
- Design and implement go-to-market strategies and identify business development opportunities
- Engage with key external stakeholders for research, conference or thought leadership engagement
- Manage digital marketing and social media campaigns, posts and content; utilize email marketing software
- Assist internal technology department with updating marketing and business development pages
- Collaborate with Business Development to draft pitch material, RFP’s and key presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders
- Analyze industry trends, implements buyer personas that effectively engages clients through meaningful content
- Measure performance of social media, web, and communications campaigns
- Report key marketing and BD metrics; identify efficiencies and areas of improvement regarding digital media content and marketing initiatives
- Implement and lead a team of Communications Specialists aligned with the Firm’s various practice areas
REQUIREMENTS:
- 10+ years of marketing experience in a large law firm environment or financial services institution
- Bachelors is required, MBA, JD, or similar background preferred
- Familiarity with technological industries such as software, mobile, life sciences, etc
- Understanding of Firm services including venture capital, securities, IP litigation and other corporate law practice areas
- High comfortability working with social media platforms
- Experience with online content sharing, marketing automation, web analytics, and SEO
- Strong research, reporting and data analysis skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint, Sharepoint)
