POSITION: Conflicts Attorney
COMPENSATION: Base salary up to $187K, commensurate with experience and depending on location desired, plus Bonus, Medical, Dental and Vision benefits, generous vacation and sick/personal days, paid holidays, 401K, and more!

OVERVIEW: You will be part of a dynamic and high-caliber team dedicated to identifying possible ethical and business-related conflicts of interest prior to the firm taking on new business, matters and personnel. You will work closely alongside a top-tier national team of talented attorneys and firm personnel who share a passion for doing exceptional work.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Understand and execute on all phases of conducting conflict of interest searches and synthesize and analyze data from research
- Assist in drafting waivers
- Identify potential conflict concerns regarding new clients and new employees and provide a concise and complete summary of analysis and findings to the appropriate firm personnel
- Perform daily operations of New Business Intake system; including review of intake requests for accuracy and completeness
- Verify that all searching is complete, consistent, and accurate and that all Firm conflicts procedures have been followed
- Assist in the identification of potential conflicts of interest; select, analyze and remove irrelevant information to produce Conflict Check Reports
- Follow up and serve as a resource to the firm regarding conflict concerns
- Connect with partners with departmental colleagues and attorneys regarding conflict issues and suggest resolutions or restructuring methods when necessary
- Collaborate with team members on conflicts concerns, searches and projects, with attention to deadlines and time-sensitive issues
- Contribute to process, procedure, and technology improvements in order to reduce risk and improve efficiency
- Assist in the development and training of Conflicts Analysts
REQUIREMENTS:
- JD degree from an accredited law school with an active bar license
- 2+ years of legal experience, especially in conflicts and compliance identification and clearance
- High volume experience in drafting waiver letters and engagement letter provisions
- Demonstrated knowledge of conflict of interest rules under the Rule of Professional Conduct required
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to remain calm and function under pressure
- Ability to communicate effectively, dispassionately and diplomatically
- Must have advanced proficiency working in MS Word
- Ability to collaborate smoothly with many other people and departments
- Ability to be proactive, organize/prioritize work and perform multiple tasks simultaneously
