LOCATION: New York City, NY

ORGANIZATION: International Law Firm

SUMMARY: Seeking an upbeat, proactive and dedicated communications coordinator to support the Business Development team. This role is responsible for implementing communications, public relations, marketing and business development strategies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with the preparation of and research for awards submissions and survey responses for legal and business publications
  • Assist with the development and implementation of strategies
  • Design and manage e-mail, mailing and web communication assets for firm events, client alerts and newsletters
  • Contribute to the awareness of the firm’s internet presence, overseeing External Websites, Firm Blogs and Social networking sites
  • Assist with content management of practice descriptions, biographies, news items and media for firm website and printed materials
  • Provide ongoing support to, as well as, train attorneys, secretaries, and other end users on their use of the CRM database
  • Obtain and update attorney contact lists; add to targeted marketing lists
  • Generate ideas to make navigating the database easier for end users
  • Develop and run searches and reports to ensure data integrity
  • Stay on top of current trends and apply when necessary

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2+ years of experience within a law firm, marketing or public relations field 
  • Experience updating and maintaining a website preferred
  • Familiarity with Content Pilot’s suite of products
  • Experience using a CRM system
  • Intermediate proficiency with MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Attention to detail, proofreading and Internet research skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
