POSITION: Marketing / Business Development Specialist (remote to start)

LOCATION: San Francisco, CA | Silicon Valley, CA

COMPENSATION: Base salary up to $100,000 plus performance-based bonus

OVERVIEW:

Seeking a highly motivated and engaging Marketing & Business Development professional to develop and execute strategic plans to generate brand recognition, thought leadership campaigns and new business leads. Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Business Development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Support all BizDev goals and efforts; monitor and evaluate BD efforts and initiatives
  • Design and own project timelines and collaborate with necessary departments to ensure deadline completion
  • Track return on investment for remote and in-person events 
  • Identify opportunities for engagement through sponsorships, community involvement, etc.
  • Conduct research on key stakeholders to engage with to maximize strategic communication between event participants and law firm partners / executives
  • Lead practice related events with Firm and BizDev goals in mind. Coordinate event logistics including list development, promotion, vendor selection and management, execution and post-event participant engagement evaluation
  • Report key marketing and BD metrics; identify efficiencies and areas of improvement 
  • Perform competitive intelligence research and leverage legal and technology best practices to recommend and facilitate innovative solutions and redefine existing solutions as needed
  • Assist with implementation and maintenance of West Coast Salesforce dashboard, including data entry and list maintenance
  • Assist with management of project and department budget 
  • Promote firm brand internally and externally through intranet site and external social media initiatives 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 4+ years of legal business development / marketing experience
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite; CRM and marketing experience 
  • Ability to prioritize, organize and meet multiple projects deadlines at one time
  • Motivated, energetic and persuasive
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrates good judgement in communication
  • Works well under pressure and in a collaborative environment
  • Analytical thinker and problem solver
  • Effective researcher with great attention to detail in legal proofreading and editing
