Attorney Recruiting Supervisor

ORGANIZATION: International Law Firm

LOCATION: Washington, D.C.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner with senior leadership to supervise all aspects of the attorney recruitment efforts 
  • Supervise administrative efforts related to the on-campus interview process and summer associate program
  • Review resumes and applications
  • Coordinate interview scheduled and ensure onboarding diligence is performed
  • Supervise the budget process for the DC office
  • Participate in attorney engagement and retention activities
  • Provide support and supervision to the department professional staff
  • Coordinate and oversee department projects and day-to-day operations
  • Assist with the development of the department budget
  • Recommend guidelines and practices to promote efficiency and effectiveness
  • Develop hiring strategy and plans, in collaboration with senior management
  • Coordinate search implementation and approval of hires, including coordination of specific candidate terms
  • Full-cycle recruiting – from interview coordination to extension of an offer

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4+ years of experience in recruiting in a corporate or professional services environment
  • 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience required
  • AmLaw experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint and comfortable working in web-based databases/software
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Able to build professional relationships and to work with individuals at all seniority levels
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to balance short and long term priorities and goals
  • Team-oriented and willing to work on other projects as needed
