Attorney Operations Coordinator (multiple positions available)

LOCATION: New York, NY | San Francisco, CA | Seattle WA 

THE ORGANIZATION: A Large International Law Firm

COMPENSATION: Base salary up to $75K Plus Paid Overtime, Bonus eligible, Medical, Vision and Dental Coverage; Generous Paid Time Off; 401K; Savings Accounts; and more.

SUMMARY: The Legal Personnel Coordinator supports the Legal Personnel department. This role is responsible for coordinating and assisting with all aspects of the firm’s legal personnel functions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop a deep understanding of all firm policies and practices as related to attorneys and ensure the implementation of such
  • Track and maintain attorney personnel records in Workday
  • Provide administrative support to the Legal Personnel Manager as necessary, including but not limited to, policies and procedures, leaves of absence, performance reviews, career development plans, work opportunities
  • Assist with attorney evaluation processes
  • Provide support to partner development programs
  • Collaborate with other departments as necessary 
  • Assist with orientation and integration programs for attorneys
  • Assist with offboarding processes for attorneys
  • Track and coordinate budgeting and expenses for the Legal Personnel department
  • Assist with the reconciliation process on a monthly basis
  • Network with colleagues in other law firms
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2+ years of experience in a related role within a law firm or other fast-paced professional services environment
  • Solid knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, efficient at multitasking and able to handle time-sensitive projects
  • Possess excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills
  • Must have flexibility in working overtime to meet operating needs particularly during the summer and fall
  • A person seeking experience in multiple sectors including recruiting, business development, marketing, social media, and other areas of the firm
