Attorney HR Coordinator

Location: New York, NY

Summary: Top-ranked multinational law firm is seeking an HR Coordinator to support the needs of the Attorney Recruiting and Development team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize the on-boarding and departure processes of all attorneys

  • Prepare new hire paperwork, coordinate orientation, provide information on firm policies and procedures, coordinate professional staff teams on arrival and departure of attorneys 

  • Serve as the point of contact for attorneys for Human Resources questions

  • Track attorney bar admittance information and manage expenses for bar admissions and transfers

  • Oversee Attorney HRIS data entry and reporting related to new hires, terminations, transfers, leaves of absences, PTO and address changes 

  • Manage HR administrative duties like receiving calls, conducting background checks, coordinating conference room reservations, completing expenses, greeting new hires and answering HR inquiries 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 2+ years of HR work experience or internship in finance or legal 

  • Microsoft Office proficiency

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, good judgement, highly organized, and strong attention to detail are required
