POSITION: Associate Engagement Coordinator

LOCATION: New York, New York

OVERVIEW: Seeking a highly motivated and organized individual with law firm experience to serve as Associate Engagement Coordinator at a top law firm. This individual will support the engagement team in launching new initiatives.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Plan and execute social community events for attorneys, including concept and logistics

  •  Coordinate Firm Mentorship Programs by communicating with firm leadership and managers to assign mentors

  • Plan and staff mentorship events at the firm, both on and off-site

  • Manage programming feedback and provide reports to managers on participation

  • Promote and increase awareness of associate/engagement resources

  • Build relationships across the firm

  • Write and update internal intranet sites related to programming

  • Guide and at times, supervise Associate Engagement Assistant

  • Participate in NY-based Associate Committee meetings; support yearly goals of subcommittees

  • Participate in carrying out Engagement Surveys, including liaising with marketing team to coordinate campaign around survey launches; review survey results and create reports

  • Support members of Engagement team in re-designing programming after surveys have been completed

  • Encourage attorney involvement in firm sports, charity event partnerships, and other large corporate events

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Minimum of 2 years in HR, event planning, or law firm experience

  • Office software proficiency, ability to learn technology quickly and desire to use and learn new software and operating systems

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal  

  • Strong sense of discretion and sound judgment

  • Schedule flexibility to adjust hours, as needed, to meet operating and business needs.
